Our Ecolodge is located in the heart of the Tayrona National Natural Park,

surrounded by mountains covered with virgin forest. It offers its visitors a preserved place, far from mass tourism in the middle of an exuberant nature.

The entrance to the lodge is through Calabazo, a village located on the Caribbean trunk road, 25 km from Santa Marta and 36 km from the Simón Bolívar International Airport.

How to get there

The bus is taken at the public market in the city of Santa Marta, they are the ones that go to the Tayrona Park, then you must get off in Calabazo exactly in the store called NEW CALABAZO , next to that store is the entrance of the road, once there you have three access options:

Walking:

the hike is 3 hours at a normal pace, the first half of the hike is by road to the top of the mountain, from there begins the Tayrona Park, the descent is by a trail through the jungle.

Horses:

the association of muleteers of Calabazo offers a service of horses that take you from Calabazo to the lodging, it has a cost of $100.000 pesos per person.

Motorcycle cab:

the Calabazo motorcycle association offers a motorcycle service that takes you half way to the top of the mountain, the other half must be walking, the trip would take 1 hour and 30 minutes.

We recommend our clients to bring light luggage, trekking shoes and good physical condition, if their choice to visit us involves walking.

It feels like a little paradise. The people are friendly and the food is very good. The beach is beautiful, very quiet. We had booked a stateroom, which was amazing, except for the bed which was not very comfortable.
We would have stayed there much longer. The walk to get there can be tiring, but it is worth it.
